Terms & Conditions

• All Credit Card and financed Transactions will be charged at 3% of the total invoice. Homeowner is expected to indicate their intentions of either means of payment prior to invoice. 
• Should customer desire a color that is not included in our stock options, customer will be charged a 15% surcharge to cover the additional costs of premium colors and product procurement.
• 50% deposit is required for job to be placed on Elite Gutters LLC’s schedule.
• All quotes are good for 30 days. 

At Elite Gutters LLC, we strive to give you a seamless experience from start to finish. That includes giving you the most accurate quote possible. There are only a few things that could result in an invoice straying from the original estimate. This includes, but is not limited to, the following scenarios;

• When removing existing gutters, our team may find rotted fascia board behind your gutters. This can be caused by roof leaks, improper flashing, and most often spike & ferrule gutter hanger systems. Should our team find rotted board it is prudent that we rectify and install new fascia board. This will insure longevity and a valid warranty. Customer will be charged at $100/Man Hour in addition to material costs. Pictures can and will be provided upon request of repairs before and after. 
• Elite Gutters LLC may need to install flashing under drip edge and over gutters to insure water does not leak behind gutters. This is not often necessary as Elite Gutters LLC installs gutters under the drip edge. In some cases, it is necessary due to foundation settling opposite of desired downspout location. These modifications will be charged at $2.50/ft
• There are other rare instances where installers may need to deviate from original plan for the sake of functionality. If this need occurs, installer agrees to make reasonable attempts to contact homeowner prior to proceeding with any changes. If homeowner cannot be reached, installer will proceed with necessary adjustments if costs do not exceed $500. Homeowner is encouraged to be home to enable the best communication possible. All adjustments will be noted and photographed for proper transparency.

40 Year Gutter & Downspout Labor Workmanship Warranty

The Elite Gutters, LLC’s promise to you is to provide the highest quality of craftsmanship and professional service. We want you to be a customer for life so not only do we protect you during the installation process by carrying a residential and commercial insurance policy, we go the extra mile to stand behind our work which is why we offer a Michiana leading 40 year transferable labor workmanship warranty on home or commercial gutter and downspout installs. There is also a 20 year limited paint warranty on aluminum gutter material that you will be provided information on at the time of install and a 40 year warranty on all gutter repair or gutter add ons. 

This Labor Warranty certifies that the guttering systems installed by Elite Gutters LLC is guaranteed against sagging, pulling loose, leaking or not functioning properly due to improper installation for a 40-year period, starting from the completion date. Elite Gutters LLC’s labor warranty requires a free inspection of the gutter system they installed at least once every two years or after any major storm with high winds, hail or heavy rainfall that can possibly damage the new gutter system otherwise the guarantee will be null and void. This free inspection allows us to get ahead of any potential issues and assures you that your gutter system and roof are in good shape. This warranty covers only the specific work described in our contract with you. If within the Warranty Period any of these issues occurs due to our defective workmanship, we will repair the subject guttering system at our expense or refund the cost of only that specific item of gutter material and labor related to that item (i.e. only defective portion of job – not entire contract), as we in our discretion shall deem to be required. 

This Warranty does not apply to:

• Damage to the gutter system due to causes beyond normal use and service including, but not limited to acts of God, falling objects, misuse of the gutter system, vandalism, maintenance.
• Any damage or injury to persons or property caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by:
•  Any fungus(es) including, but not limited to, any type or form of mold, mushroom or mildew
• Spore(s) means any reproductive body produced by or arising out of any fungus(es):
• Any substance, vapor or gas produced by or arising out of any fungus(es);
• Any material, product, building component, building or structure that contains, harbors, or acts as a medium for any fungus(es) or spore(s)
• Damage caused by settlement of other structural problems.
• Per SMACNA guidelines we cannot warranty the buckling and bowing of extruded metal if over 70 feet without an expansion joint.
• Gutter issues due to an “Ice-Dam” except through the specific locations where an ice dam protection membrane has been installed by Elite Gutters, LLC.
• Gutter damage due to the rotted siding on walls, wood trim, window sills, fascia boards, etc. 
• Homeowner, other companies/contractors, etc., or anyone other than a representative/employee of Elite Gutters, LLC performs, alters, or attempts any repairs before Elite Gutters LLC is allowed to remedy the problem this warranty will be null and void and Elite Gutters LLC will not be held liable for damage to the gutter system or any 
• Elite Gutters LLC does not warranty underground drain systems installed by other contractors, or homeowner. If Elite Gutters LLC is contracted to install downspouts into underground drain, customer is responsible for hiring underground drainage cleaners to ensure drains are clear and functioning properly.

Issues That May Void Our Workmanship Labor Warranty:

• Other contractors that may cause damage to your new gutter system that could result in a voided workmanship labor warranty (i.e an example list of contractors: painting contractors, carpentry contractors, other gutter contractors, power washing contractors, window and siding contractors, HVAC mechanical contractors, plumbing contractors, and /or general contractors.)
• Elite Gutters LLC’s labor warranty will be voided if the customer does not allow Elite Gutters LLC to perform a free inspection of their work once every two years or after any major storm with high winds, hail or heavy rainfall that can possibly damage the new gutter system. 
• It is the customer’s responsibility to notify Elite Gutters LLC immediately once a gutter issue is noticed.
• It is the customer’s responsibility to notify Elite Gutters LLC if ownership of the home or commercial property will be transferred. Transfer is subject to approval and inspection by Elite Gutters LLC.
  Important Notices and Disclaimers
  Except for the limited warranty stated above, we explicitly disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied including, but not limited to, any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose and any warranty for any damage to any property, real or personal, and/or any damage or injury to persons. This limited workmanship warranty does not extend to or cover, and we will not pay, consequential damages of any kind. 
  * This warranty shall be null and void if the full payment of services is not received from the customer according to the terms and conditions of our contract.
  *Elite Gutters LLC does not warranty tiger striping, mold or mildew on the exterior or interior of the house, or flooded basements.

At Elite Gutters we will always recommend regular cleaning of uncovered 6” K-Syle Gutters, with Wide-Mouth Outlets and 3x4 Commercial Downspouts. 

There are some factors that prevent that from happening. 

These Circumstances Include, but are not limited to.

• Exceptionally high buildings and/or homes.
• The need to clean multiple times a year, several in some circumstances.
• The busyness of life making it difficult to regularly maintain your gutter systems.
• The inability to hire contractors to clean your gutters in a timely manner, risking damage to your home.
• Having a 5” Gutter System

For those circumstances we use the best cover options that we have found on the market. That being said there is no gutter cover that requires zero maintenance. 

Our gutter guard systems will be warrantied provided certain exceptions.

This warranty will cover;

• Clogging inside your seamless gutters
• Birds creating homes in your gutter guard system
• Wind Damage less than 60 MPH
• Hydro-Flo will be warrantied against snow and ice damage

This warranty will NOT cover;

• Water overflow due to excessive rainfalls.
• Dripping due to condensation.
• Water overflow due to improper maintenance
• Wind damage that exceeds speeds of 60 MPH
• Damage that would qualify under insurance claims due to exceptionally damaging storms.
• Snow and ice damage with MeshLok Gutter Systems.
• Basement/foundation damage due to improper maintenance.

Proper Maintenance Includes;

• Pressure Washing HydroFlow Fine Mesh Screen once every 5-10 years depending on environmental conditions.
• Brushing guards off with our patented gutter brush 1-2 Times every 1-5 years depending on environmental conditions.

Our promise to you is to provide the best products available to you. Our gutter guards are tested to be the most effective, in our opinion, in handling necessary water flow and debris management.
